Before I met John from Revolution Careers I struggled finding any kind of direction in my life. I had taken online tests, and visited uni open days, and still didn't know where to start. I have four children aged seven to nineteen years. My eldest child, a daughter, had finished a year of science at university, in 2016, and was completely lost as to where to go to from there. I couldn't help her; I had no idea. My husband and I are medical doctors, but university and work options are so much different from 30 years ago - when we were teenagers.
John was able to expertly guide our daughter to the career she is now excited about: Chemical Engineering. She is following the path of three engineer uncles, and a chemical engineer grandfather. Interestingly, she didn't even know about the jobs of these relatives. However, like them, she is extremely suited to this line of work. We needed John to work out, for us, what now seems obvious. My daughter has started Chemical Engineering (now in 2017) as a double degree. And, she is excited about her future.
My 16 year old son, currently in year 12, similarly had no idea what career he would be suited to. And, similarly, we couldn't help him. John has helped our son to have a good idea about a suitable career path to follow. Furthermore, John arranged to further help and support our son, later in the year, before university choices are made.
I've given John's business card to all of my friends, whose teenage children are similarly lost, as well as many of my patients who have children of varying ages (teens to 20's) needing career help.
John is passionate about his work; he really cares about the people he helps; and his experience and professional skills make him ideal for this line of work (career guidance) which is so greatly lacking in schools and elsewhere in the community.

John has been a ray of sunshine coming into my son’s life. My son was totally lost floundering from course to course, racking up a bigger and bigger HECS bill without finding anything that suited him. He was at the point where he was afraid to embark on a new direction, for fear it would be another dead end, and another black mark on his resume.
John used proven tools in assessing my son’s personality, and as my son said, he could now look to progress down a path knowing it was truly something for him.
